Kek Kibbler pre-breakers/ lump breakers are designed to work in conjunction with other Kek mills or as stand alone coarse grinding mills in their own right. Robustly designed for reliability during even the most arduous of duties, they are capable of breaking down large lumps of product, up to 150 mm dia. and reducing them to 2 - 3mm in preparation for further processing.
All models available in carbon steel or stainless steel 304L or 316L.
Special alloys available on request e.g. Hastelloy

• Interchangeable beaters to suit process requirements
• Cantilevered versions available (application dependent – please ask for details)
• Narrow particle size distribution and minimal fines
• Can achieve rates from 2 to 25 tonnes/hour dependent upon the materials concerned
• Operator friendly, with no heavy items for operators to support during cleaning
De-agglomeration
Breaking down of compacted hygroscopic products that have agglomerated due to dampness or compaction
Pre-milling
Pre-grind of very large lumps to a particle size small enough for further grinding
Coarse Grinding
Product is broken down for use in another process i.e. ingredients can be sized for mixing, damaged products can be reclaimed for rework, filter press cake can be broken to increase surface area for more efficient drying.
